‘Ordinary people’ badly affected by gambling have launched many grassroots organisations. These, driven with passion, offer support and raise awarness.
The sites we show here represent some of the different kinds of grassroots activism. Some like Darren with his Rule-ette-out initiative operate as individuals, interacting with many others on social media. Some organisations can only be described as highly professional in their approach and development.
